I dont think it matters when they last did something awesome; and I think it was probably killing thulsa doom, the fact is they where at one point one of the strongest alliances in the game not something that could be said about tri, paper tiger would be giving tri too much credit :/. Anyone who suggested that they would last under pressure was laughed at when people discussed tri...

And you sir, don't get what Tri was all about. The only POS war any member of Tri (with the exception of Nok) ever wanted was for someone to attack our space.
We wanted fun fights, I know its a big shock that in a game most pilots wanted fun everynight, rather than 30 minutes of black screen followed by waking up in a clonebay. Its hard to nano around in such lag anyway! 
It was the tension between what most people wanted, and what actually happened that really broke things down...
Most members would be glad to grant you, yet we sucked at POS war...OMG its true! 
Didnt rzr / mm attack you / INSG and then you ( tri ) ****** off to attack some real important moon mining pos's which basically resulted in the ending of your alliance and you now losing your space? If you wanted fights surely you would have done what we did and give them a bloody nose everytime they did something?
Dont kid yourselves, if you had wanted the epic fights that holding space gives you then you had it handed to you on a plate, but yet all you did was cry about lag and lose horribly. Fun fights are the fights you win.
